Pregnancy & Postpartum Therapy in Connecticut

Specialized telehealth therapy for women and couples navigating the journey of pregnancy, postpartum, and NICU Stays.

Mental Health Counseling for Women & Couples

You Deserve Support. Whatever This Season Looks Like

Motherhood and the journey to it don't follow a script. Whether you're navigating the emotional weight of pregnancy, recovering from a difficult birth, spending sleepless nights in the NICU, grieving a loss, adjusting to postpartum life, or finding that the arrival of your baby has shifted something in your relationship — you don't have to carry it alone.

I'm Carrina Trantalis, a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in women's mental health, perinatal support, and postpartum couples therapy. I work with individuals and couples through some of the most tender and transformative seasons of life, offering compassionate counseling in a warm, nonjudgmental space that is built around you.

I offer therapy for:

  • Individuals — navigating pregnancy, postpartum, anxiety, birth trauma, NICU experiences, grief, and life transitions
  • Couples — postpartum couples therapy for partners adjusting to life with a new baby, navigating relationship shifts, communication changes, and the emotional weight of early parenthood

Wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome here.

Specialized Training:

My work is grounded in advanced specialized training. I have completed two training programs through Postpartum Support International (PSI) — Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care and Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy — and am a listed PSI provider, meaning you can find me in their trusted directory at postpartum.net. I also hold training in couples therapy, having completed The 10 Principles of Effective Couples Therapy with Drs. John and Julie Schwartz Gottman.
